Gary Lee Robertson is an accomplished musician, songwriter and poet. From original compositions to performances, he brings back the big band era in his presentation of standards with catchy titles like “Shall We Dance” that will get you up and dancing, or at least singing along! A little Frank Sinatra, even Elvis, might find their way into the program lineup.
There are many styles of music that Gary enjoys playing and teaching, from Flamenco to Country. He’s guided and encouraged hundreds of people to explore their own musical interest. A recent student wanted to learn how to play Israel’s medley of “Over the Rainbow” on a ukelele for her mom, in a week! Gary’s style of instruction helped her achieve her dream, on time. You can too.
A regular venue for Gary is Bogarts Coffee House in Seal Beach, California. JoAnn Adams, the establishments owner describes his eclectic blend of fingerstyle jazz, standards, pop, folk, rock, and blues as “something for everyone in his smooth vocals and lively guitar.”
Gary has also performed at the I-Candy Cafe and Sipology in Long Beach and many other restaurants and coffee houses in Southern California.
